As a child of God, I desire to ignite and grow my faith continually. I don’t want to become a stagnant Christian, sitting back and waiting. No, I believe I have a purpose God gave me, and it is not inwardly focused. It is heavily outwardly focused. Not that I am a missionary, but through my books, blog, and Faith and Light Community, I attempt to reach others, igniting their faith, expanding their passion for the word of God through knowledge of biblical facts, and encouraging them to be lights in a spiritually dark world. I work hard to ensure my faith is evident in every chapter of my books, blogs, and posts to my community. So, my fictional books, blog, and community are my tools for expanding the kingdom of God today and for an eternal future.

Another possible word for FACT is the Truth of God, found in His Word. The more I read, the more I realize how little I know. As revealed to me by God, one of the most significant areas of my lack of knowledge was prophecy and end times. You may be surprised by that, considering that all my published books are End-Times fiction. Because of my need to understand more about what I was writing, I’ve focused on studying End-Times and prophecy.

Because of this, I’ve begun to incorporate as much biblical truth… FACT… in my books as I can, without taking away from the flow of the story.

This is why I started writing fiction. It has been my heart's desire for a very long time, but I did not realize it until recently, relatively speaking. I use my books, blog, and community to reach my readers while entertaining them with stories. My books are positioned at the intersection of Faith, Fact, and Fiction. They are my ministry tools, mission, and walk of obedience.

I desire to use my writing to bring light into the lives of my readers. That light is the truth of God, from His Scriptures.

First and foremost, I am a Child of God whose desire is to serve Him however I can, using the talents, abilities, and gifts that God has given me. Secondly, those gifts, skills, and abilities culminate in my books, blogs, and, indeed, in all I do. As an author and blogger, I desire to minister to others, perhaps awakening them to their journey of faith and obedience and developing an understanding of End-Times and prophecy, which may encourage them to live for eternity rather than today—a life filled with hope for the future and joy for what is to come. As Christians, we are to live for an eternal future.

Finally, I am a wife, mother, and grandmother who desires to provide for her family. That provision can be both material and spiritual. Materially, I hope my provision can be through help, whether in my presence or through financial assistance. Spiritually, it can be through my counsel, guidance, prayer, and, yes, even the things I write.

I have young grandchildren. Who knows, maybe they will get something from my books and blogs long after I am gone to be home with my Lord and Savior.

Because of this, I wish also to establish the Faith and Light Community. A group of like-minded individuals who desire to be obedient to God through our study of His Word, focusing heavily on End-Times and Prophecy.
