The Children of Light series is a collection of Christian speculative novels set in a post-Rapture world. While the setting is apocalyptic, the heart of the story is deeply personal.
These books follow ordinary people who are confronted with extraordinary responsibility. God entrusts Light—His gift—to a few, calling them to protect and guide a new remnant of believers.
Each character must wrestle with fear, obedience, calling, and sacrifice as they learn that Light is not something they control, but something they receive and steward.
The series explores themes of:
identity rooted in God, not circumstance
obedience that grows out of love, not fear
hope that endures even when the world is unstable
transformation through faithful surrender
Though the books are connected, each story stands on its own while contributing to a larger unfolding narrative.

Why I Write End Times Fiction
Conversations about the End Times often stir anxiety or division. My desire is to approach these themes differently—through story rather than argument, and through hope rather than fear.
Biblical prophecy reminds us that history is not random and that God remains sovereign, faithful, and present. Through fiction, I invite readers to reflect on these truths in an accessible, imaginative, and grounded-in-Scripture way.
These stories are not predictions.
They are reflections—meant to encourage trust in God’s character and confidence in His promises.

If you are new to the Children of Light series, here are a few gentle starting points:
📘 Start with Book One: Into the Light
This is the best place for most readers. It introduces the world, the nature of Light as a gift from God, and the central themes of faith, obedience, and calling.
📖 Reading the Series in Order
Readers who enjoy following character development and a larger unfolding story will find the richest experience by reading the books in publication order.
🕊️ Looking for Deeper Reflection
Readers who appreciate reflective, faith-centered storytelling may find Gabby’s Journal especially meaningful. While it is a prequel, it is best read after the main series, as it reframes and deepens the entire journey.
These stories were written prayerfully and with care. They are meant to encourage trust in God’s faithfulness, remind readers that Light is always received—not earned—and invite reflection on what it means to live with eternal perspective.
You are welcome to read at your own pace, ask your own questions, and simply walk the journey as it unfolds.
Group Reading Introduction
The Children of Light series invites readers to explore what it means to live faithfully when certainty is stripped away, and obedience carries real cost. Set in a post-Rapture world, the stories are less concerned with timelines or speculation and more focused on spiritual formation—how faith matures under pressure and how God’s Light is carried forward through love, trust, and endurance.
Each book raises thoughtful questions about identity in Christ, the stewardship of God-given gifts, perseverance in suffering, and hope anchored in God’s promises. While the setting is apocalyptic, the heart of the series is deeply pastoral, encouraging readers to reflect on their own walk of faith in light of eternity.
These books are well-suited to discussion, prayerful reflection, and conversations about obedience, hope, and transformation in challenging times.
